2D navigation commands

You can use navigation commands to snap to a 2D line, plane, or vertex in the following contexts:

• P&ID

• Drafting

  • Component Modeller
  • Plant Modeller 2D drawings such as reference drawings (the navigation commands can be enabled as described in Activate 2D annotations)
  • Isometric and spool drawings

• 2D imports

When 2D annotations are enabled in the active view, the Navigate context menu displays the following 2D annotation specific commands.

• Move to nearest 2D vertex (Shift+W)

• Lock cursor to plane > 2D line extended (Shift+F)

• Lock cursor to line > Nearest 2D line (Shift+D)
